Aldous Huxley

Aldous Huxley famous powerful novel Brave New World depicts life in a futuristic tolatarian survelliance society. I read this book in high school and have regretably witnessed the United States and other countries slowly adopting many of the tolatarian practices depicted in this book. This book serves as a wake up call to people willing to give up their privacy and rights to the government due to fear and/or safety.

Huxley also wrote The Doors of Perception (The musical group 'The Doors' took their name from his book.
